 The
Village Experience
You will experience many aspects
of traditional village life in Bali. These range form the making
of natural coconut oil and coffee making to the preparation of offerings
and special foods that are an integral part of Balinese life. The
package begins in a typical Balinese village where you will visit
a home to get a taste of Balinese architecture, home layout and
functions, daily household life and activities
Village walk: Begin this course by walking through the unspoiled
village of keliki. You will then choose 4 or more activities from
the list below to give you a real taste of balinese village life
- offering making*
- cooking*
- agricultural life including
the Subak irrigation system, rice farming, other crops and their
cultivation and harvesting.
- wood carving (crafts and

- painting*
- music and dance*
- temples and ceremonies
